Typical for a sushi place. $7-15
Excellent sushi and noodles. Very friendly servers. Highly recommend this place, one of the few really good sushi places in the state.
The best lunch with the other two Indian Friends in Sushi Bar .
Tables are a little too close together for comfort and I felt like the sushi makers were moving a little slow.. but it was worth the wait. Great sushi. Great saki. Acceptable service. I'd definitely go there again.
We love the servers! Best priced beer a good reason my husband likes going. My kid loves the sweet potato tempura roll (vegan) ask for no sauce
By far the best sushi we had for our vacation to Indianapolis. We travelled from NYC and we have very good sushi in NYC, so we did not expect to find such exceptionally good sushi in Indianapolis. A definite return and recommendations for those who love sushi.
So good! Cheap beers nice service fast food prep. Will be back.
Good place for Saki and Sushi
Best sushi bar in town. Swordfish roll is out of this world. Very authentic feeling and great service and selection. Highly recommend eating here!
Waited 40 minutes before we were served our salads, soups and drinks and they weren't busy! Service was obviously slow and lacked enthusiasm. The Chirashi Bowl was good but the nigiris were not that great esp. the unagi (eel). Not impressed!
Really good sushi and great selection. Good selection of alcohol at a cheap price.
Dinosaur and Tiger were good!
The customer service at this restaurant is horrible! I decided to come here because all of the positive reviews, but I ended up hugely disappointed at the lack of customer service and mediocre food.. I waited 45 minutes for two sushi rolls which was actually the size of one. People entering the restaurant was served before me after I had already placed my order. Needless to say I will never spend my money here again!!! I uploaded a picture this place is a joke!!!
Tuna and Shrimp bento box...
Great customer service.
I came in with my fiance because I had been craving sushi for the longest. I can honestly say the sushi I ate here was the BEST sushi I've ever eaten! The prices were great with $2.00 beers. We ordered the Hawaiian roll, the mango shrimp roll, the spicy avocado roll, and the sweet potato roll! I can honestly say that whom ever created the sweet potato roll is pure genius! Best sushi I've ever had! Truly truly delicious and amazing service!
Greaf volcano roll1
I'm in love with the Suuushi!! Great spot for a sushi fix. Rolls are moderately priced and deliver on taste and quality. I had 36 pieces alone 😅🤤. The beer is $2!!! So you can pregame a bit before bar hopping in the area 🍻.
I really wanted to like this place but wasn't too impressed :( I got a $17 🍣 roll w/6 little pieces and the noodle dish seemed a little soggy. For a $55 dinner I expected better. The veggie tempura was good but that's a basic dish.
This is my favorite sushi place in Indy. 9.9 times out of 10 quality, delicious food, with no problems. Lots of vegetarian friendly sushi options to boot. Always love grabbing a bite from here. Prices are reasonable, restaurant inside is quaint; not too much or too little in terms of decor. The focus is the food. The folks working there are generally really nice too. Just don't overstay your welcome. 😂
At first I would have rated this establishment 3 stars for it's terrible food but excellent customer service from our server. But following eating here I ended up.with food poisoning. I only hope that my experience is the exception and not the norm.
I believed tbe reviews and went up. It was horrible. Tiny rolls, tasteless rice, lackluster sauces. Menu difficult to navigate. Have of the sushi menu that we mark, had no specials on it.
Everything was perfect! Loved the soup and the lunch menu! Totally coming back
The service was not as prompt as I would have liked, but that's me being picky. The language barrier was expected as well, but we just need to talk enough to get serviced so we were good. BUT, what I did not expect, was the FANTASTIC meal I was about to have. I have done Chopstix, Watami, Captain Sushi and the such. But Sushi Bar has set a new standard for Indy area sushi. A standard that I could only hope is surpassed. I say HOPE, because I doubt I will find anything BETTER. Thank you for pleasent service and a phenomenal meal.
I ordered through door dash. The food was poorly made and the proprietor wanted to argue with me over what was supposed to be sautéed scallops, but was a SOUP! Sushi rolls were the smallest rolls I have EVER seen and 4 rolls packaged together! I will NEVER order here again and highly encourage everyone to think twice or three times before you order! I paid $60 for food worth MAYBE $20! Poor excuse for service and food! I would give 0 stars if it were an option!
Good food. We went on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Despite not bring extremely busy service was a touch slow. Everything was pleasant and presented as expected.
FOOD IS GOOD BUT TOO SMALL RATIONS FOR THE PRICE. IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF HUNGRY AND LITTLE BUDGET THIS IS NOT THE SITE !!!! I WILL NOT COME AGAIN !‼ ️👎🏻
Had the seafood udon... The seafood was highly overcooked and the ratio of udon noodle to broth was 3:1. Not very flavorful. Would not recommend for true Japanese food lovers.
Amazing Sushi, amazing service!
Very good and notably affordable for the location
Service beyond bad. And they really didn't seem to care
I have a great time every time I visit Sushi Bar. The food is always fresh and there is a wide selection to choose from! I also appreciate the attention the staff gives you as well. I'd recommend giving them a try if you haven't been before!
Favorite sushi place in Indianapolis. Good value. Small place, but nice. Somehow feels more authentic then others in area. $2 domestic and import beers any time. They have a 2 or 3 roll lunchtime specials for $8 or $11, respectively. Highly recommend, but not an accessible restaurant. Entry requires many turning stairs.
Very large menu with choices galore
Salmon nigiri was something less than to be desired.... rainbow roll tasted like mold. Tiger roll, Dragon roll and Jaguars roll were pretty tasty. Service was pretty good. We got in before the rush. More expensive than the quality of sushi was worth.
Went with my hubby we both loved it.the food was on point, the amount was so great we had food for lunch 5he next day.
The customer service is awesome, the sushi is okay nothing special. The prices are very reasonable.
Not really a quiet spot but a lot of fun in the summer. I have been here twice now and the sashimi and saki are always just right! :-)

I’m upset. Usually this place is really good, but I came here over the weekend on Saturday and the sushi I ordered didn’t taste right. The next day I woke up VIOLENTLY ill. I guess I eat sushi at my own discretion but still. Beware, if it doesn’t taste right, don’t eat it.
Great sushi lunch specials and the sushi was incredibly fresh! Highly recommend!
This spot never fails to impress. They serve fresh dishes for convenient prices, there is no waiting time even when the spot is loaded.
Statue of Liberty Roll is amazing!
Love the food! Efficient serving staff. Very attentive. You get a lot of food for the lunch special for 10.99! Bang for your buck! Very good usage of space love the decor. Very quaint! 💜
Dynamite roll! Amazing! I really enjoyed tha ambiance and friendly people here.
My family and I love this place. Sushi is good quality and prices are great. Comfortable and quaint inside. Wait staff is courteous.
Literally some of the best sushi I've had in a long time. Service took awhile, but the wait staff was great, and very courteous!
Their sushi is absolutely delicious! You can get both Americanized sushi or the more authentic nigiri or sashimi. The price is neither crazy cheap or expensive in my opinion. They also have other Japanese dishes, but I haven't tried those, except for the udon, which was very good too.
If you're that terrified of COVID just shut your doors. People don't want to eat sushi in the blazing sun on your patio. But not allowing paying customers to wash thier hands (Remember stay clean for the COVID) is unsanitary, unprofessional and Ill never be back.
Very good sushi! Wait staff was very courteous
I love the sushi place! They have a nice variety of fish there, which is good 4 people like me, who are allergic to shellfish but still love sushi. They have reasonable pricing there and a great ambiance.
